Teaching With a Touch of Honey

Teaching With a Touch of Honey was created to support teachers with simple, engaging writing resources that help students build confidence and develop strong writing skills.

Primary classrooms are full of learners with different strengths, needs, and experiences. Finding ways to support every student while managing a busy classroom can be challenging.

The resources shared here are designed to help teachers provide meaningful writing experiences while saving valuable planning time.

Meet Natalie

Hi! I’m Natalie, a retired teacher with over 30 years of classroom experience.

Throughout my teaching career, I worked with students who had a wide range of learning needs and abilities. One of my biggest goals as a teacher was helping students see themselves as writers and giving them the tools and confidence to express their ideas.

Over the years, I created many classroom activities and writing resources that helped students organize their thinking, develop vocabulary, and grow as writers.

Teaching With a Touch of Honey grew out of that experience and a desire to share practical resources with other educators.

Supporting Teachers & Young Writers

Teaching writing in the primary grades is about more than worksheets and assignments. It’s about helping students explore ideas, develop language, and discover the joy of expressing themselves through writing.

Teaching With a Touch of Honey was created to support that journey by providing resources that make writing instruction a little easier and a little more engaging for both teachers and students.
