My goal

​

I'm working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the standards most websites use to be easier for everyone to use.

What I've done so far

​

• Images have alt text that describes what they show.

• Links use both colour and an underline, so they're easy to spot.

• Text and background colours have good contrast.

• Pages use clear headings in order, which helps screen readers.

• Writing is kept plain and simple.

• The site works on phones, tablets, and computers.

• Text can be made bigger with your browser's zoom.

Where I'm still working

​

This website is built on Wix, and some parts come from other services. These may not be fully accessible yet:

​

• Some older blog posts and images.

• Email sign-up forms from Kit.

• PDF resources and pages on Teachers Pay Teachers.

• Videos or content from other websites.

​

I'm checking and updating these a little at a time.
